STAS Mentoring was created by the Screen Training Alliance Scotland (STAS) to connect Mentors and Mentees and to create a framework of best practice mentoring across the Scottish screen sector.
They are currently looking for Mentors with at least 5 years current, relevant experience. STAS Mentoring is open to Mentors from both unscripted and scripted genres working in any department.
How does STAS Mentoring work?
- Mentors will be paired with a Mentee for 6 months and have monthly meetings via zoom and in person if restrictions allow.
- Mentees will be selected from the alumni of Screen Training Alliance Training Programmes
- Mentoring training will be given to all prospective Mentors and there will also be ongoing support for both Mentor and Mentee via the Project Manager
- STAS can offer a small fee per monthly session for Mentors who are freelance or self-employed.
If you have at least 5 years current, relevant experience in the screen sector and would like to be a Mentor, please find more information at stas-mentoring.co.uk.
STAS Mentoring is funded by Screen Scotland.
