TV Training Programme

This programme provides experience of training within a real filming environment to create a strong platform for trainees to embark on successful careers within the sector

A TV show shooting in Scotland is recruiting up to 18 trainees, across various departments. Trainees will learn from some of the finest technicians and creatives working in the film and television industry. The experience of training within a real filming environment will create a strong platform for trainees to embark on successful careers within the sector.

About

All trainees will attend an induction course at the start of their placement and undertake a series of training courses during their time on the show. Trainees also participate in a shadowing scheme where trainees will gain experience from other departments.

You will have a training plan and there will also be regular meetings with supervisors to support your development.

We ask trainees to make the most of every opportunity presented to them and expect them to be proactive in their own development and learning.

Trainees will be paid salaries between £605.00 and £756.25 per week (inclusive of holiday pay), depending on the role.

This Training Programme is supported by Screen Scotland and ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills fund.
