We require an agency or freelancer to support us in the redevelopment, redesign, and occasional ongoing updates and maintenance of the Screening Shorts website.
Screening Shorts is a website for educators looking to explore film and screen in the Scottish classroom. It is managed by Screen Scotland, which is a part of Creative Scotland, and is a partnership with Education Scotland.
The website features over 100 licensed short films from the worlds of live-action drama, animation and documentary for use in the classroom, allowing teaching professionals to reach Scottish Curriculum learning outcomes with their pupils using film. All films come with suggested critical, cultural and creative classroom activities.
We're looking for an agency or freelancer to support us in the redevelopment, redesign, and occasional ongoing updates and maintenance of the Screening Shorts website. In particular, we're looking to have the website redeveloped in WordPress, and given a new look and feel so that it's more in line with our current brand guidelines. The redeveloped/redesigned site should be able to go live no later than 30 September 2023.
We expect the budget for this project to be between £9,000 to £11,000 including VAT. Tenderers registered for VAT should indicate this in their proposal.
For full details of our requirement, please read the full tender brief which can be found on the notice on Public Contracts Scotland (PCS), linked to below.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon on 2 June 2023.
